April 1, 2016 – Comp My Play, in partnership with Raving Consulting, is proud to support the Notah Begay III Foundation (NB3F) in raising awareness in the ongoing battle against obesity and diabetes among Native American youth.
On March 15, Raving Consulting, a Reno, Nev.- based firm that assists casinos and gaming companies worldwide, held its second annual Native Strong Comedy Slam to benefit the Notah Begay III Foundation (NB3F) at the National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) show in Phoenix, AZ. This event, featuring Native American comics raised over $20,000 and is part of several fundraising efforts that Raving and its Partners hold throughout the year for NB3F.
Comp My Play became an official Partner of Raving Consulting earlier in the year. “Raving has worked diligently to build a solid reputation in the gaming industry the last 20 years, particularly within Tribal Gaming,” said owner CEO Brandon of Comp My Play. “What attracted us to Raving was not only the relationships they’ve built in Indian country, but the commitment they have to raising money and awareness for their charity of choice, NB3F.”
Brandon shared, “Raving is a great company with a clear vision and we’re pleased to have found a marketing partner that shares our goal of giving back to the communities in which we do business. We are excited to join their efforts in supporting NB3F and its goals of helping tribal communities improve the well being of children and their families.”
Comp My Play, a mobile app firm that assists casinos in driving targeted traffic into casinos via geolocation and push/in-app messaging technology, is excited to work with Raving Consulting in promoting events that will raise funds for this worthwhile cause.
The core of the Notah Begay III Foundation’s work is focused on partnering with tribal communities in a way that enhances their own efforts in combating type 2 diabetes and childhood obesity. NB3F educates Native communities on the importance of healthy lifestyles and brings athletic opportunities to Indian country’s young people. Out of the 71,000 sports and youth organizations in the United States, the NB3 Foundation is the only nonprofit organization using sports, health and leadership programs to fight type 2 diabetes among Native American youth.
